JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
  • You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
  • You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS

General job duties for all store team members:

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Training:
Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Communication

Skills:

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/

Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen; strong eye-hand coordination for fast, precise movements.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees (cooler) to 90 degrees and above in some areas. Sudden temperature changes; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot oven surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing – Most tasks are performed standing.

Walking – Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces are between 36 and 48 inches high.

Sitting – Paperwork is typically completed at a desk or table.

Lifting – Deliveries may require lifting up to 50 pounds; cases are lifted from floor to shelves up to 72 inches high.

Carrying – Large cans and pizza sauce; trays of dough are carried over short distances.

Pushing – Move trays on dollies; trays may require pushing or pulling.

Climbing – Occasional stairs or ladders for signs, walls cleaning, or maintenance.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to the customer’s door and deliver flyers/door hangers.

REQUIRES

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area; must navigate adverse terrain (multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites) while carrying product.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during delivery.
  • Delivery within a designated area; multiple deliveries per shift may be required.
  • Walking between the store, vehicle, and customer location.
  • Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be required during delivery.
WORK CONDITIONS (Delivery)

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering, driving, and applying coupons.

Far vision and night vision for driving.
