This position is a 12-month position and will primarily provide coaching functions and duties to student athletes. An Offensive Coordinator in football is responsible for developing and executing the team's offensive game plan, including play calling during games, overseeing all offensive position coaches, analyzing opponent defenses, and making strategic adjustments to maximize scoring potential, essentially leading the offensive side of the team under the direction of the head coach.
An individual in this position is expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse student population.
Ability to perform work beyond a standard 40-hour work week when workload requires.
Either a copy of, or authorization for, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.
Preferred Qualifications3 years of Coaching experience.
Demonstrated commitment to community development.

Deep understanding of offensive schemes and formations. - Film analysis skills:

Adjust offensive strategies based on the opponent's defensive adjustments. - A thorough knowledge of the game of Football.

- This position requires work and travel outside of Monday-Friday, including evenings, nights, and weekends to support the goals towards growth in the college.
Coaching:
- Game planning:
Design offensive strategies based on opponent's defensive tendencies, player strengths, and situational factors. - Play calling:
Decide which plays to run during a game, often communicating with the quarterback on the field. - Offensive staff management:
Oversee and coordinate the work of position coaches for the offensive line, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, and quarterbacks. - Film analysis:
Break down game film to identify strengths and weaknesses of the offense and the opposing defense. - Practice planning:
Design and implement practice drills to develop offensive skills and game strategies. - Player development:
