This is a hands-on, full-time role offering genuine variety. From general maintenance and repairs to construction and renovation projects across the island, your trade expertise will directly support our world-class guest experience and vibrant island community.

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across island buildings, fixtures and fittings
• Undertake construction and renovation projects as required
• Respond promptly to urgent repairs to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain and secure Hamilton Island Enterprises tools and equipment
• Keep accurate records of time and materials used for workshop tasks
• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe and roadworthy
• Support fellow maintenance team members when required
• Attend team briefings and contribute to a strong safety and communication culture

You work well in a team, stay calm when things get busy, and bring a flexible, positive attitude to every task. • Valid manual driver’s licence
• White Construction Card (essential)
• Certificate III in Carpentry (Essential)
• Work Safely at Heights and EWP (above 11m) tickets highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation
• Flexible, reliable and safety-focused approach to work
