This is a practical, varied role where no two days are the same. From fixing doors and furniture to cleaning gutters, patching walls, painting, and completing general repairs across the resort, you’ll play an important part in keeping Hamilton Island running smoothly and looking its best.

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across resort buildings and facilities
• Ensure fixtures, fittings and equipment are safe, functional and well‑presented
• Complete a range of tasks including minor carpentry, painting, sanding, door repairs, gutter cleaning and small renovation works
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally to support an exceptional guest experience
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment in line with WHS policies

You’re a practical problem‑solver who enjoys variety in your day and takes pride in delivering quality work. You work well in a team, stay calm when things get busy, and bring a flexible, positive attitude to every task. • Valid manual driver’s licence
• White Construction Card (essential)
• Previous maintenance experience or partial trade qualification (essential)
• Work Safely at Heights and EWP (above 11m) tickets highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation
• Flexible, reliable and safety‑focused approach to work
