Recruitment Officer

Overview

Allmen Industrial Services Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and proactive Recruitment Officer to join our small, supportive team. This full-time role is based in Hamilton, NSW (Newcastle) and reports to the Operations Manager.

• Screening & Selection: Conduct pre-screens, face-to-face interviews, phone interviews for remote recruiting, and verify candidate compliance.
• Candidate Support: Prepare candidates for engagement with our valued customers.
• Onboarding: Assist candidates with customer inductions, track completion statuses, and coordinate the provision of PPE.
• Sales & Marketing: Build relationships with key customer representatives and assist the Operations Manager with business development.
• Higher Duties: Relieve the Operations Manager during periods of leave; liaise with customers and fulfill needs when the Manager is out.
• Various Tasks: Support the team with ad-hoc tasks such as timesheet data entry or assisting the return-to-work coordinator with transportation of injured workers.

  Experience:
  
  Qualifications or experience in blue-collar recruitment or labour hire; experience in operations or allocations is advantageous.
• Communication Excellence: Networking and presentation skills; ability to liaise across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to thrive in a fluid environment and work autonomously when needed.
• Technical Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity when supporting candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work outside normal hours.

• Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Super + Bonus (full-time)

Location:

Hamilton NSW (Newcastle). This role is full-time, Monday to Friday.
