Vacancy – Hostess / Host

At Jamey Fitz, everything revolves around experience. In our stylish restaurant in the heart of Groningen, we welcome guests who come for refined dishes, surprising wines, and personalized attention. We are looking for a host or hostess who can convey that feeling of luxury and warmth to our guests – someone who doesn't see hospitality as a job, but as a given.

As a host/hostess, you'll be the face of Jamey Fitz. You'll welcome our guests with flair, escort them to their table, and make them feel right 'll work closely with the team to provide impeccable service and have an eye for detail—from the perfectly polished glass to the perfect timing between courses. Wine knowledge is a plus; you can confidently advise our guests or are eager to learn more.

• A natural, hospitable appearance and representative attitude
• Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or high-end hospitality
• A proactive and collegial attitude
• Social Hygiene Diploma (or willing to obtain this)
• Wine knowledge or interest in developing this

• A place in an ambitious and warm team
• An inspiring work environment with room for your own initiative
• Career opportunities and training in hospitality and wine
• Salary in accordance with function group 3 of the catering collective labor agreement, depending on experience
