* Job Summary:

** The STAT Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients. Provides a high level of clinical expertise and critical thinking while responding to emergent situations, urgent situations and when transporting patients.

* Job Responsibilities:

*** Assists with patient care operations and integration of services between departments.
* Responsible for prioritizing medical and mental health care for various levels of acuities.  Quickly recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions while rapidly prioritizing and delivering appropriate care.
* Provides care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. Extensive knowledge of medication protocols and therapies is needed in this fast-paced and dynamic position.
* Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of care.  Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.  Acts as patient advocate.  Demonstrates competence and critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial and emotional needs of all patients.
* Strives for excellence in patient care; keeps patients safe from adverse events. Seeks learning and teaching opportunities in an effort to further develop and perfect skills and improve overall quality of care. Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development and life-long learning.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Degree:  Associate’s Degree of Nursing

* Experience:

2-5 Years Experience
* Supervisor

Experience:

None Required
* Licenses & Certification: RN in the State of Missouri, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support (BLS)
** Preferred Qualifications**:
* Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing

* Experience:

5-10 Years Experience
* Licenses & Certification:
Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) and/or Certified Emergency Nurse
** Work Shift
** Night Shift (United States of America)
