RN, LPN, MAIn accordance with the mission of Wood Health Company, the Medical Assistant (MA) will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting, under the direction of the physician and office manager/coordinator. The Medical Assistant is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

* Job Duties:

*** Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
* Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
* Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
* Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.
* Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.
* Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.

** Required License/Certification:

* Current license to practice as an RN or LPN in the State of Ohio.
* Certified or Registered MA
