Academic Learning Advisor

We are looking for a person to join our team who has a strong academic foundation of knowledge and experience to support ākonga while they study here at Wintec.

In this Academic Learning Advisor role, you will focus on helping ākonga develop their academic capability, in particular their academic writing and reading skills. Working alongside kaiako / tutors and support staff, you will foster a positive learning environment with a focus on equity for Māori and Pacific learners.

The position is fulltime (fixed term), 37.5 hours a week.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $70,400.00 and $92,400.00, dependent on skills and experience.

• Understanding of the tertiary environment

Previous experience at providing academic support in a tertiary context would be an advantage.
