Job SummaryThe University of South Carolina School of Law is seeking adjunct professors to teach courses in the Environmental Law and Sustainability certificate program during the Spring 2026 semester.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses in the Environmental Law and Sustainability certificate program.
- Cultivate a learning environment that supports student engagement and professional development.
- Contribute to the law school’s academic community through collaboration with faculty.
- J.D. or terminal degree in a related field (e.g., environmental engineering, environmental studies, or sciences).
- At least two years of teaching or practice experience in environmental law, sustainability, climate change, or environmental justice.
- Strong academic credentials and evidence of high probability of success as a practitioner or teacher.
$7,500–$10,000
Work SchedulePart‑time, 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary depending on the class schedule.
