Architectural Technologist

DPAI is hiring Architectural Technologists to join its dynamic and vibrant team at its downtown Hamilton office. The company invites Architectural Technologists with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for a rare opportunity to collaborate on a variety of interesting high profile, and sustainable institutional/affordable residential projects.

DPAI welcomes applications from motivated candidates who are:

• Experienced with project delivery in a fully integrated REVIT team environment
• Passionate about Building Science: building performance and technical detailing.
• Interested in Architectural Design
• Knowledgeable in the field of sustainable design (LEED or Passive house accreditation as asset)
• Collaborative and have a holistic outlook on teamwork
• Good verbal and graphic communicator

And have the following skills and experience:

• Proficient with the following software platforms:
  Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Sketchup
• Working knowledge of Building Code
• Knowledgeable in sourcing ULC assemblies to suit various situations.
• Experience with Construction Phase and Contract Administration work
• Experience writing and reading 3-part specifications.
