Business Development Manager for Immingham area
Are you a commercially minded, customer-focused sales professional ready to drive growth in the energy solutions sector? Certas Energy is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager for our Immingham Office to identify and secure new commercial sales opportunities, revitalise lapsed business, and help shape our future sales strategy.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our commercial customer base across core and adjacent energy markets. With a mix of field and office work, you’ll be building meaningful customer relationships, managing a strong sales pipeline, and working collaboratively to achieve departmental volume and profitability targets.
What You’ll Be Doing- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across key markets
- Develop relationships with prospective and lapsed customers to drive revenue growth
- Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Manage the sales pipeline through our CRM and other sales tools
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and support customers through the onboarding process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and contract performance
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in the energy or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profit targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools to manage and track opportunities
- Ability to analyse data, spot trends, and adapt strategies accordingly
