Job Description
As the Decommissioning Execution and Planning Lead you will provide strong leadership, supervision, and coordination of assigned Decommissioning teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of decommissioning activities. Accountable for delivering the decommissioning plan (and any approved variations) while meeting or exceeding Safety, Environmental, and Productivity objectives.
Core Responsibilities
* Responsible for building an effective decommissioning planning and delivery team
* Lead on all safety and environmental activities, ensuring full compliance with site standards and procedures.
* Continuously monitors team capability and implements necessary developmental actions
* Monitors, enforces, and exhibits high work standards.
* Responsible for compliance with refinery policy’s rules and procedures.
* Communicates expectations to decommissioning team and wider business.
* Responsible for the coordination, prioritising and timely execution of work in response to Safety, Environmental or program challenges.
* Serves as focal point for coordination of all planned decommissioning activities and maintains open and effective communications with site leadership teams.
* Accountable for all requirements for decommissioning and provides expertise in the overall planning, scheduling and execution.
* Responsible for the facilitation and maintenance of:
* Decommissioning plan
* Annual Budget management
* Responsible for implementation of all operational and environmental procedures during the execution of the decommissioning works.
* Responsible for prioritization and execution of the removal of pyrophoric risks and works that support these activities.
* Responsible for prioritization and execution of the catalyst removal works
* Responsible for prioritization and execution of the interzonal pipeline clearance works
* Responsible for the handover certification process for decommissioned units/plant/pipelines.
