To perform loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers. Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.

• Loading/unloading truck/trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
• Picking and moving items ranging from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
• Ensure all documentation is properly completed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies.
• Properly store all inbound loads in the correct warehouse location.
• Ensure all shipments are properly marked before storing/picking.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Spot trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.
• Coordinate paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day.
• General maintenance of area surrounding warehouse.
• Ensure trailers are swept clean of any debris when empty.
• Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Process outbound freight and cross‑dock freight as necessary.
• Operate Stand‑Up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit‑down forklift work.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Build and break down pallets.
• Work in a fast‑paced warehouse.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• Operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand‑Up Reach Forklift.
• Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
• Maintain orderly operation of warehouse.

• 1 year of forklift driving experience.
• Certified forklift license.

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports; present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Solve practical problems; interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; determine root cause of problems and corrective action.

• Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Activate phone systems using keyboards and buttons.
• Speak clearly in front of others.
• Work in an indoor/office environment with repetitive hand motion.
• Talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.
• Work over 8 continuous hours when required.
• Manage stressful situations; maintain accuracy; multitask.
• Read and discern visual images with 20/20 corrected vision.
• Communicate clearly over telephones.
• Be in sound physical health per certified physician; no evidence of controlled substance use.

• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise ranges from quiet to moderately loud.
