This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role at Caleb Chemical's Peotone, IL location. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling deliveries, managing communication between drivers and customers, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. Additionally, the role involves maintaining records, monitoring delivery schedules, and addressing any issues that arise during the delivery process. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.

• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Experience in logistics management, route optimization, and scheduling
• Proficiency in record-keeping and using transportation management systems or related software
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and address real-time challenges
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in transportation or logistics
• Hazmat training preferred
• Familiarity with compliance and safety regulations within the transportation industry
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is an advantage
