CDL Driver no OTR - Conserv FS - Waterman, IL

SALARY RANGE: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy, energy, or turf products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to support profitable growth.

• Operates all assigned vehicles, including trucks with single, tandem, or multi-axle configurations, forklifts, etc., according to safety standards and proper operation techniques.
• Performs and records daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes. Maintains a clean vehicle and follows preventive maintenance protocols.
• Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Delivers and picks up products on schedule, providing superior customer service and professionalism.
• Completes all documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submits them promptly.
• Maintains accurate logs and records of cargo and other duties as assigned.

• Maintains company equipment and adheres to uniform and professional standards.
• Performs warehouse duties during slow periods.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailers and meeting company and DOT standards.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Valid CDL with required endorsements, a medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
• Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits.
• Physical requirements include exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, working at heights, and lifting 51-70 lbs.
