Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. If you are mechanically inclined with no professional experience, we will teach you!
Welcome to Love’s! We offer an apprentice program with training and opportunities to learn.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with roadside services
- Learn preventative maintenance services
- Perform tasks with the ability to move and lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures
- Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
- Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
- Air system diagnostics and repairs
- Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
- Charging system diagnostics and repairs
- Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
- Parts lookup and acquisition
- Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn; previous professional experience is not required
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds; ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to work a rotating day/night schedule
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (provided by Love’s)
