Full Stack .NET Developer with deep hands-on expertise in building and modernizing healthcare payer applications. The ideal candidate will work across Azure cloud-native microservices and legacy .NET Framework systems, contributing to modernization initiatives, interoperability APIs, and core payer application development. This role requires strong technical acumen in .NET Core / .NET 6+, Azure PaaS services, and a solid understanding of healthcare payer operations such as claims, eligibility, and provider management.
You will help bridge the gap between legacy systems and next-generation cloud-based architecture, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and payer data exchange standards like X12, HL7, and FHIR. Experience with healthcare payer operations such as Claims Adjudication, Eligibility, Member Enrollment, Provider Management, and Authorizations. Familiarity with CMS, HEDIS, NCQA, and other payer reporting requirements. Understanding of HIPAA X12 transactions, HL7 / FHIR standards, and data exchange protocols.
Prior exposure to core payer platforms (Facets, QNXT, Health Edge, or similar) is a plus.
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core / .NET 6+ applications, REST APIs, and microservices hosted on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure App Service.
- Maintain and refactor existing .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC / Web Forms applications to improve scalability, performance, and security.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, React, or Blazor, integrated with secure REST APIs.
- Create reusable, modular components and shared libraries for healthcare workflows (claims, eligibility, provider data, authorization, and encounters).
- Integrate with external and internal systems using FHIR APIs, HL7, and HIPAA X12 EDI (270/271, 837, 835, 278, 999, 277CA) transactions.

- Use Azure API Management (APIM) for API security, throttling, and versioning.
- Leverage Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage for data persistence and document storage.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, including automated builds, releases, and infrastructure provisioning (ARM / Bicep / Terraform).
- Implement event-driven and message-based architectures for asynchronous processing between payer modules and downstream systems.
- Refactor existing monolithic .NET Framework applications into service-oriented or microservice architectures.
- Participate in code migration, dependency decoupling, and API enablement of legacy modules for interoperability.
- Collaborate with solution architects to define modernization blueprints and transition plans.
- Implement data migration and synchronization between on-prem SQL databases and Azure SQL / Data Lake.
