Clinical Supervisor Exempt/Non-exempt: EXEMPT Immediate Supervisor:
Clinical Director Salary: $62,000 - $77,000 Benefits: to view LCFS’ Full-Time Employee Benefits.
Essential Functions:
- Provide clinical supervision and support to unlicensed staff and monitors use of clinical interventions and required documentation across all programs.
- Supports clinical internship programming, including training, supervision, and collaboration with the field liaison from the university or college in which the intern attends.
- Work in conjunction with the clinical director on management of clinical staff case assignments and monitoring caseloads of clinical staff for compliance in meeting productivity standards.
- Supervision of staff for the Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS) 24-hour crisis intervention program for youth; including the back-up supervision of crisis calls.
- Collaborate with Clinical director on recommendations for professional development to ensure clinical staff are well-equipped with the necessary skills in various areas such as trauma informed services, and other clinical therapeutic modalities.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to youth and families between the ages of 10 and 25 that present with a wide range of concerns. Responsible for working with youth and/or their families in an office-based setting as well as providing services within a school setting. The ideal candidate can adapt to providing services in many contexts and with youth and families that present with a wide range of concerns.
Our therapists are team-oriented while also being self-motivated. - Collaborate with community partners, such as schools, police departments, juvenile probation, DCFS case workers, and mental health agencies/hospitals, to serve youth.
- Maintain client records in an electronic health record in accordance with agency standards. Provide data and reports as needed in compliance with agency requirements. Adhere to agency policy on confidential mental health records, including work within the eCornerstone data system for each youth in compliance with DHS and CCBYS (Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services) requirements.
- Works independently and consistently exercises discretion and sound judgement.
- Available to work extended evening hours and/or possible weekends to provide supervision and support of crisis program.
- Meets annual expectations for training and certification. Acquires ongoing skills/knowledge and adheres to required attendance for meetings and conferences both within and outside the agency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred.
- Must have access to a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates a broad variety of supervisory skills in all facets of supporting successful social service programs.
- Understands a variety of therapeutic modalities, including solution focused treatment, CBT, family systems, DBT, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and substance use.
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge and experience working with the CCBYS program.

- Professional, adaptable, and able to demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background checks, including but not limited to criminal background checks and CANTS (Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System) checks, as required by law and agency policy. Candidates must also possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license and must not have had a suspended or revoked driver’s license within the past three years.
