Assemble move, aligns, erects, installs, dismantles, repairs, or reinstalls industrial machinery and mechanical equipment at customer facilities/job sites as specified by work orders, diagrams, drawings, blueprints, or oral or written instruction by performing the following duties.
- Sets up and operates oxy-fuel torches, plasma torches, and a variety of welding equipment and utilizes various cutting and welding methods.
- Welds metal components together as specified by work orders, blueprints, layouts, welding procedures, or minimal oral or written instruction.
- Welds flat, cylindrical, or irregular parts that may be clamped tack-welded, or otherwise positioned.

Position Requirements
Education, experience, and skills: High school education and two or more years of experience in a jobsite environment. This position requires competent knowledge. Average interpersonal skills and communication abilities are required. This position requires hands on abilities to effectively perform in a less than ideal environment.
Certifications: OSHA 10
Driver's License: Must have a valid Illinois driver's license (minimum Class
D).
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May often require working at heights frequently exceeding 50 feet and occasionally exceeding 200 feet.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Heavy lifting is common. Vision requirements include peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

About the Organization
PAUL'S was founded by Paul L. Cler in 1951. Upon discharge from the Navy at the end of WWII, Paul returned to working with his brothers but was eager to form his own business.
What began as his small plumbing and heating business quickly evolved to include machining, welding, fabrication, and an LP gas supply branch. Eventually Paul, with the help of his 6 sons, developed and produced lines of agricultural equipment to include grain transport augers, seed corn detasselers, self powered agricultural sprayers, soil conditioners, and grain legs. At the same time, Paul's functioned as a well equipped job shop, hiring and training multi-disciplined employees to handle the ever increasing variety of projects entrusted to the shop.
In response to new market opportunities, Paul's directed it's evolving engineering, manufacturing and millwright capabilities toward a host of industries including packaging, food processing, printing, grain handling and storage, and mining equipment.
His sons assumed ownership of the business in 1979 and accelerated its growth by pursuing new markets using state of the art technologies. What…
