General Laborer

- Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job sites and within the Weld Shop
- Prepare new construction sites for project mobilizations and staging of materials
- Organize and maintain project materials at the job site in a presentable and efficient manner
- Unload tools, prepare/stage materials, and set up equipment
- Follow project instructions/direction from Welder Lead and Project Managers
- Safely operate a variety of tools, including drills, saws, jackhammers, grinders, wrenches, and blowtorches
- Install equipment and materials that include rigging, bolting/wrenching, and lifting
- Safely operate mobile equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, and scissor‑lifts
- Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored away properly
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Positive, dependable, and reliable attitude with ability/desire to work within a team environment to achieve results.
- Desire to learn and grow – to ultimately become a Welder / Fitter

Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to moderately loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; climb ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include correctable vision to complete work in a safe manner.
Compensation & BenefitsThe starting wage for this position is $27/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
