The Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen refrigeration systems. Under the guidance of the Area Service Manager (ASM), the technician will handle routine service, warranty work, and emergency repairs, ensuring systems meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a customer‑focused approach.

USD $35.00/Hr. Max Compensation: USD $45.00/Hr.
Responsibilities- Provides the highest level of customer service, technical ability, and quality to our customers.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs most standard refrigeration units for commercial customers such as reach‑in coolers and freezers, beverage dispensers, walk‑in coolers and freezers and rack units.
- Diagnoses and repairs electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of the commercial refrigeration systems.
- Travels to job sites in assigned service area and works with assigned dispatcher(s) to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
- Available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to address emergency service needs.
- Maintains good working order of company vehicle, including cleaning and organizing, and washes vehicle at least once per week.
- Maintains proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment upon arrival, including make, model, serial number, type of fuel, and pictures as necessary.
- Documents details of services and parts provided to customers electronically through company‑provided cell phone and/or iPad applications.
- Diagnoses a variety of service issues, obtains necessary replacement parts, calibrates systems according to manufacturer specifications, and clearly communicates the issue(s) and recommended solutions to the client.
- Participates in company‑provided training opportunities.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
- Identifies and reports potential opportunities for additional business to management.
- Follows all environmental regulations, including the handling and disposal of refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines.
