Position:
Field Service Technician

Maintain Ticket Vending Machines (TVM’s) and other transit equipment. Operate and maintain electronic devices, repair and troubleshoot assemblies to the modular level. Respond to service calls. Document and report maintenance efforts. Lead other technicians onsite.

• Read and interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings, work orders, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Initialize and commission electronic devices for correct operations.
• Analyze device operations to determine malfunctions, troubleshoot issues/errors, repair modules, and replace components as needed.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate and required records.
• Use general purpose test equipment, basic hand tools and special tooling as required.
• May order replacement spares and parts from vendor parts list.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Two‑year college degree, or equivalent, in electronics, computer science, information systems and/or related technical school and 2 years experience as a lead.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to become solder certified.
• Literate in computer usage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions, prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, work under deadlines, concentrate and apply craft skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical material.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk, stand and sit for extended periods, and to climb stairs.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug test.

Wed‑Sun 7am-4pm

$23-$25 an hour (Entry/Intermediate Level is $20-$22). Note that you will receive $100 for Saturday and $100 for Sunday on top of your hourly pay.
