Supervisor - 3rd Shift – Full Time – Sauget, IL

Wage: $21.00/HR

As Shift Supervisor you will be performing a variety of functions for your assigned shift. You will be providing direction to the on‑duty Security Officers regarding their job requirements, priorities of work, and coordinating any necessary needs of the site.

Functions Of The Position
  • A Shift Supervisor is responsible that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and needed reports are filed.
  • Notifies proper authorities, client, and Securitas management in emergency situations.
  • Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from Securitas management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
  • Trains Security Officers with functions of their positions, reviews site post orders, and other details of their position.
  • In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions while on duty.
  • Prepares, files, and submits various reports as needed.
  • Inspects posts and meets with on‑duty Security Officers to ensure tasks and responsibilities are being completed.
  • Following applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, performs supervisory duties that can include training employees, assigning tasks during shift, directing work, coaching, addressing issues, and resolving problems.
  • May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
Position Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Security.
  • Must be dependable and initiative‑taking.
  • Must have ability to be calm, polite, and always show professional behavior.
  • Must have above average computer and technology skills.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
  • Must have ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Must have ability to train officers and ensure all policies are adhered to.
  • Must have ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high customer service orientation.
  • Must have above average communication skills.
  • Driver's License needed.
  • PERC Card needed.
  • Must be flexible with schedule when necessary.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
