** What You'll Do:*
* + Monitor and control access points to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.

+ Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.

+ Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations to Allied Universal and site management as required.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site procedures.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment at the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
