Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol Driver in University Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with all visitors and staff.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity, helping to deter unwanted behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the premises to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
- Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with general inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
