General Purpose
As a Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in planning and executing sales strategies for designated accounts. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the delivery of products and services. Establishing strong relationships with Fire and EMT decision‑makers in your territory is essential, as our team is dedicated to a 'Help First' approach that enhances the safety and comfort of responders.
MainJob Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Devise and implement effective sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule and organize sales activities.
- Engage with both new and existing customers through sales calls.
- Craft and deliver presentations of our products and services to potential and current clients.
- Negotiate sales agreements with clients.
- Create comprehensive sales proposals.
- Respond promptly to sales inquiries and concerns via phone, online, or in person.
- Ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction and foster strong client relationships.
- Follow up actively on all sales activities.
- Monitor, report on sales activities, and provide insights for management.
- Participate enthusiastically in sales events and ongoing training sessions.
- Familiarity with fire service equipment and tools.

- This position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is commission-based, with unlimited earning potential—approximately 40% of gross profit per sale.
- Dinges Fire Company provides the flexibility to work full-time or part-time. Many of our successful representatives are also active in firefighting, which enhances their knowledge of our offerings—this background is strongly recommended.
