• Educate physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals about the value of hospice care.
• Build trusted relationships with referral sources.
• Guide referral sources through understanding prognosis and the Medicare hospice benefit.
• Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit.
• Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
• Grow and develop professionally, learning and serving with enthusiasm.

You’ll be based out of a local VITAS office and actively engaging across your territory, meeting with physicians, hospitals, and care facilities as needed.

• Ability to connect, educate, and make a difference in a dynamic environment.

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or healthcare services experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals in a competitive team environment.
• Evidence of critical thinking and solution building.
• Past military or volunteer organization service a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of a needs‑satisfaction selling process.
• Capability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and build long‑term partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.

• Other acceptable licenses include: RN, LPN/LVN, SW.
