Global Parts Sales RepresentativeKress is looking for a full‑time Global Parts Sales Representative to join our Parts team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. The Global Parts Sales Representative acts as a trusted advisor to customers by providing expert guidance on replacement parts for specialty transport carriers. This role balances sales growth with technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Create revenue through top‑notch, phone‑based customer service
- Serve as inside sales after vehicle delivery to increase sales volume per customer
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Assess customer urgency and react in accordance with company policy to orders
- Collaborate with our production planning team to provide customers accurate lead times and ship dates
- Provide quotes, enter orders in order management software, aid customers in identifying the correct parts, refer technical support inquiries to specialists, and answer order information inquiries
- Must become proficient in the use of Kress's order management software
- Assist finance in collecting late (>60 days) payments for parts orders
- Ensure proper application of company policy
- Communication in English via email and telephone
- Work must be accurate and timely
- Continually identify and remediate order issues: incorrect prices, inadequate profit, sales contract formation issues, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years' experience in customer service, parts, or inside sales
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment or machinery
- Ability to absorb new issues and make sound decisions
- Must have the ability to think on your feet and pivot when needed
