GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Westermeyer Industries is searching for an Account Manager to join our team. In this role, a successful applicant will focus on existing customer support and customer relationships. This includes maintaining current customer needs by coordinating with internal teams. The ideal account manager candidate is energetic and well-spoken, and excited by the idea of working with customers to solve problems and creating solutions.

Westermeyer Industries designs, manufactures, and distributes high-quality components and accessories for the refrigeration and air-conditioning industries. Products include pressure vessels such as oil separators, receivers, accumulators, oil filters, condensers, and evaporators, as well as level and pressure detection devices and a range of replacement parts. More than a supplier, Westermeyer Industries is dedicated to engineering creativity and design ingenuity, offering catalog products and custom solutions alike.

Salary-Full Time
$50,000 - $60,000
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage and track customer RFQs to completion
* Support Customer Service with all customer issues concerning pricing, delivery, quality concerns, new product introductions, and other responsibilities
* Collect and analyze data concerning customer behavior to understand changing needs
* Resolve complaints and keep track of all processes that pertain to the client's desires
* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
* Coordinate activities with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Production on ongoing projects in an effort to support customer objectives
* Respond to and follow up on inquiries from all channels (company website, customer service, outside sales, and others)
* Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* 2-4 year college degree (Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred)
* Valid drivers' license
PREFERRED SKILLS
* 1+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Service
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
* Ability to read and understand customer engineering prints and drawings
