Shift Supervisor – Rosemont or Woodfield Location
Position Purpose

- Sales:
Ensure store meets or exceeds weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans and contribute to the district’s sales targets. Model understanding and communication of the store’s sales mission to staff, assist with developing each team member’s commitment to sales results, supervise staff to achieve sales goals and external opportunities, and model Lindt standards (4 Moments of Influence, dress code, up-selling, passion, sales focus). - Stock Management:
Monitor and escalate stock levels to Store Management to avoid out-of-stocks/overstocks/dated product. - Staff Development:
Support Store Manager with training sales staff to ensure knowledgeable, friendly, well-trained staff that meets Lindt guidelines and standards. - Training & Development:
Train sales staff in accordance with company standards, ensuring daily/weekly/monthly sales and operations goals are achieved; develop staff sales techniques and product knowledge; escalate issues professionally and timely. - Operational Controls:
Ensure store meets or exceeds standards for operational controls and compliance, including inventory control/shrink, cash management, QA policies, and store cleanliness.
- Skills & Knowledge:
Proven sales background; ability to take direction, delegate, and execute through others; basic math and/or accounting skills. - Experience:
Required – Prior retail experience (preferably in a specialty retail environment); ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach; regular lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. - Education:
Required – High School Graduate or equivalent;
Preferred – Associates Degree. - Other Requirements:
Availability to work nights, weekends (Saturday and Sundays), and holidays.
