On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1213) at Target.

The Starting Hourly Rate is $17.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $17.25 USD - $25.90 USD per hour.

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary based on shift availability and store needs. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is required. If you do not respond to attempts to contact you or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule before using the myTime app to pick up shifts.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and provide knowledge about store tools, products, and services.
• Assist with checkout, set up, and customer service activities across lanes and areas including Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; direct guests to enroll in fulfillment services as needed.
• Explain features of the Target App and Wallet to guests.
• Handle returns according to policy, escalating to leadership as needed.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per Target policies.
• Deliver accurate service to guests and maintain a clean, safe work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Assist with cash handling, and related cash office processes as needed.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure safety, compliance, and a positive guest experience.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others; you thrive in a fast-paced, active environment where teamwork and problem solving are key.
• You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills; ability to educate guests on products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; comfortable with multiple devices and store systems.
• Willingness to learn and assist with various store duties including cash handling and safety compliance.
