General Manager – Hardees Restaurant – Rushville, IL

Base pay range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and hire staff, maintaining a bench for future growth.
  • Execute marketing plans, installing POP and menu board elements.
  • Ensure the restaurant is staffed properly and team members are trained to perform their jobs.
  • Operate the restaurant consistently with the business plan.
  • Provide leadership, creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
  • Maintain correct inventory levels and equipment condition through approved vendors.
  • Supervise in accordance with performance and operating policies.
  • Motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their highest level.
  • Review preliminary P/L’s and forward questions to the District Manager.
  • Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures to provide a safe and compliant environment.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years management experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept.
  • Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
Competencies
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Work around high temperatures.
  • Work around others in close quarters.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably.
  • Work with various cleaning products.
  • Perform job at a continuous high pace, under pressure while maintaining quality and speed standards.
