Description

Ancho & Agave is hiring Hosts to help us create the ultimate dining experience for our guests. If you love serving people and know how to "wow" with your customer service, we want you on our team!

Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team-oriented, punctual, honest, and comfortable with customer service. Must be available to work consistently, maintain a positive attitude, and be an excellent communicator.

Host responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers, helping guests with reservations, and guiding them to their tables
• Providing accurate wait time estimates
• Providing menus and answering initial questions
• Optimizing seating to ensure even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones, scheduling reservations, side work, station setup, and light restaurant maintenance

Host Skills & Qualifications:

• Effective communication in English (verbal and written)
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• High stamina to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
