Quality Assurance Lead (Food Production)
Wage: $23+/hr depending on experience
Location:
Stephenson County IL
Shift: 1st shift
Responsibilities- Lead and support QA technicians in daily quality operations.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
- Conduct product inspections, testing, and documentation review
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
- Train production staff on quality and food safety standards
- Maintain accurate quality records and reports
- 3–5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance
- Prior leadership experience is required, 1-2+ years is preferred
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and FDA/USDA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and organizational skills
