Quality Assurance Manager; Steel Fabrication

Oversee and enhance our organization’s quality systems. This individual will lead quality assurance initiatives and foster continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. This role is vital in confirming the integrity of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting regulatory compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001. The Quality Manager will play a key role in quality controls, conducting audits, and managing quality projects to uphold the highest standards.

• Oversee quality management systems aligned with industry standards ISO 9001, making and implementing improvements when appropriate.
• Lead quality audits across manufacturing facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality control and quality inspection processes to verify product specifications and detect deviations or defects.
• Manage QA/QC activities throughout the production cycle to ensure consistent product quality. This includes tool calibration and coordinating rework activities.
• Coordinate with team members and management during initiatives related to quality improvements and system upgrades.
• Analyze data from inspections and audits to identify trends, root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance on quality systems, policies, and procedures to staff at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards by maintaining documentation and preparing for external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing processes and recommending innovative solutions for enhanced product quality.
• Promote a culture that reflects the company values, as well as production of products that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.

• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards.
• Proven experience in conducting quality audits within manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in manufacturing, quality control, and overall quality assurance practices.
• Expertise in developing and managing quality management systems (QMS) and implementing effective quality systems strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills for data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving related to product quality issues.
• Effective project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for training staff, communicating with customers, preparing reports, and collaborating with regulatory bodies.
