Overview

The Charge Registered Nurse utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Position Details Incentives
  • Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 per year
  • Weekend Differential
  • Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
  • Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential
  • Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential
  • New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $10.00 RN
  • Day-One comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance

Qualifications Education
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Licensure
  • Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
Physical requirements/demands
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

  • 7B
    - We offer an immense selection of experiences through our management of complex diagnoses and patient needs with many learning opportunities.
  • This environment provides a strong foundation in nursing and clinical skills.
  • The unit serves the medical surgical population managing chronic and acute onset diseases.
  • The types of patients we serve are those with multi-system management needs such as infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro‑intestinal conditions, and post‑surgical patients.
  • We also coordinate management of patients needing surgical interventions, EGD, colonoscopy, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti‑coagulation therapies.
