Job Location:

Naperville (Spalding office)

  Expected to travel for coverage needs (Thursday – Westmont; Wednesday – Bloomingdale)

• Under general supervision, provide high‑quality support to physicians in meeting the medical needs of the patient.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, prepare them for physicians; take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, and ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
• Perform telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions.
• Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all such activities in the chart.
• Assist physician with procedures as necessary.
• Clean and stock patient examination rooms; clean and prepare instruments for procedures; keep a list of needed medical supplies.
• Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x‑rays, school/work notes, etc.
• Clean and sterilize equipment; check and restock medication cabinet as necessary.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
• Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician.
• Perform OSHA controls as required; assist in performing narcotic count.
• Perform other projects and duties related to department objectives.
• Demonstrate teamwork, accept constructive criticism and follow work rules.
• Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
• Act as a member of a health‑care team, functioning in the role of patient advocate by being the initial contact for patient‑related issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Current IL RN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, but may consider new graduates under specific circumstances.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00‑38.50 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
