Job SummaryAs a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends. You will also supervise assigned team members and maintain high-quality care.
Pay Rate$32–$40 per hour

- Promote patient health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with the care team.
- Identify patient care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and their support systems.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support, fostering a compassionate environment.
- Promote patient independence by:
- Setting patient care goals.
- Educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self‑care.
- Addressing questions and concerns.
- Ensure quality of care by:
- Adhering to therapeutic standards.
- Measuring health outcomes against goals.
- Making or recommending necessary adjustments.
- Resolve patient problems and needs using multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies, medication administration protocols, and controlled substance regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Registry.
- Clinical expertise, bedside manner, and infection control knowledge.
- Proficiency in administering medication and maintaining health promotion.
- Strong teamwork, multitasking, listening, and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to effectively promote health and maintain patient care standards.
