Aboutthe role
For our client, we are seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Manager to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and drive digital innovation. This role is central to enhancing efficiency, implementing lean methodologies, and leading automation projects. You will collaborate cross functionally to maximize productivity, ensure quality compliance, and align processes with the company’s global standards.
- Design manufacturing workflows and equipment layouts to minimize losses, eliminate non-value added work, and maximize output efficiency
- Develop control systems and production procedures that reduce operational costs while preventing quality issues
- Establish design/manufacturing standards through collaboration with management, operators, and cross-functional teams
- Prepare comprehensive material/equipment lists
, purchase orders, cost analyses, and production forecasts - Create process manuals and operating instructions while training teams on new standards and methodologies
- Lead digital transformation by transitioning manual processes to automated systems and integrating IT with manufacturing machinery
- Implement lean methodologies and technological innovations to boost productivity, reduce environmental impact, and increase sustainability
- Analyze operations using KPI monitoring to identify improvement opportunities in productivity, cost, and quality
- Collaborate with formal/informal knowledge holders and partner with R&D, quality control, and supply chain teams
- Drive investment projects focused on cost reduction, higher output, and environmental improvements
• Share best practices and co-lead global initiatives within the network
- Minimum 3 years in industrial engineering, process optimization, or manufacturing roles.
- Background in electrical products, precision manufacturing, or related sectors (preferred).
- Proficiency in lean methodologies, automation systems, CAD/CAM tools, and digital manufacturing.
- Expertise in root-cause analysis, waste reduction, and process innovation.
- Fluency in English (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar certifications (asset).
- "Hands-on" experience in IT/manufacturing integration.
- Demonstrated success in transitioning manual → automated/digital processes (low-volume sector).
