Facilities Manager

Location: University Park

Supports Manufacturing with the necessary plant engineering, production equipment maintenance engineering, material handling engineering and special facility projects to maintain efficiency in plant operations.

Key Activities/Responsibilities

* Coordinates and facilitates special projects for facility and production equipment to support manufacturing needs on a timely basis.

* Coordinates maintenance training for maintenance personnel to ensure all key production equipment is maintained at the highest levels.

* Assists with daily operating problems in primary manufacturing departments as required.

* Locates and procures operating equipment service parts, supplies for manufacturing and provides for the necessary repairs of production equipment.

* Manages maintenance, janitorial personnel.

* Develops and coordinates all preventive maintenance programs to assure maximum uptime of production equipment

* Institutes and maintains record keeping procedures on all production equipment to assure orderly scheduled maintenance.

* Develops and maintains all plant, facility and production equipment layouts and drawings to provide current and accurate information on the facility

* Performs other duties as assigned on a project basis.

* Responsible for all new construction i.e. plant additions, modifications.

Requirements/

Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, or other related field

* Five to seven years experience in similar position

* Mechanical aptitude

* Skilled in HVAC and electricity

* Skilled in OSHA and EPA

* Skilled in budget and project management

* Skilled in accident prevention programs and supervision

Wage Range: $88,892 - $126,989 per year
