Rochester Midland Corporation is looking for a Label Coordinator for their Aurora, IL manufacturing facility. This position orders labels required for jobs, applies labels to packaging, organizes already labeled packages and bottles, as well as prints labels and paperwork as needed. This posistion may also assemble packaging, package filled containers and place finished goods on pallets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Verifies the accuracy of labels received including the lot number, product description, product code, weight or volume, EPA Registration numbers on label (if applicable), expiration dates printed on label (when applicable).
- Organizes labels and assembles together with hazard labels using information from Batch Tickets.
- Prints and/or orders labels for the upcoming production schedule as needed. This includes all paper work needed for the job.
- Requests labels for production and applies them as needed.
- Ensures all labels are placed on proper product based on documentation.
- Stages and organizes packaging materials for production if needed.
- Maintains a high-quality standard, as required.
- Maintains work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and requirements to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Performs such similar comparable or related duties, as may be required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Need to have a strong ability to read and comprehend English
