Precision Planting is an innovative, fast‑growing company transforming agriculture through advanced technologies that improve productivity, increase yields, and promote sustainability. We are seeking a Production Control Buyer to partner with our supply chain and ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement of manufactured parts to support production assemblies.
Your ImpactPurchase & Supply Coordination:
Issue production of POs based on pricing and optimized quantities; ensure manufacturing orders have required parts; manage inventory levels within space and financial constraints.
Supplier & Logistics Management:
Work with suppliers on shipping schedules, product shortages, mis shipments, and expedite parts when needed; update schedules and communicate back‑ordered items.
Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Sales/Sales Ops on forecasts; work with Engineering on changes and BOM management; collaborate with QC and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Cost & RFQ
Activities:
Assist Sr. Buyers with RFQs, evaluate part/tooling costs, and support cost‑saving initiatives with Engineering.
ERP & Process Oversight:
Maintain BOMs in ERP system and ensure smooth execution of production and supply chain processes.
Experience &
Education:
1–3 years in procuring manufactured parts and/or a BS in business or a technical field; experience in a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturingเอียด Cost Knowledge:
Strong understanding of different manufacturing processes, associated lead times, and cost implicationsθηκαν comfortable participating in supplier negotiations.
Communication &
Collaboration:
Excellent people skills for interacting with suppliers, production, R&D, and procurement teams.
Technical & Analytical
Skills:
Proficiency in Excel for data formatting, analysis, and summarization; ability to read engineering prints; ERP navigation, MRP, BOM structures, and managing POs.
Process Expertise:
Skilled in issuing and tracking purchase orders and ensuring smooth procurement operations aligned with production needs.

Your CompensationThis position will pay within the range of $54,797 - $110,000, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 8% of compensation.
