Position SummaryThis position primarily operates and maintains water/wastewater treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment in a water/wastewater manufacturing environment.
CompensationThe expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
, based on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
- Monitor and manage the operation control panel, ensuring all systems function correctly and efficiently.
- Follow procedures regarding cleaning, equipment use, maintenance, calibration, and safe handling of chemicals.
- Conduct regular calibration of PH meters and maintain probes.
- Oversee tank levels and maintain communication with the metal finishing department.
- Diligently document operations and maintain logs at regular intervals.
- Perform physical checks of the neutralization reactor and clarifier, ensuring optimal performance.
- Manage waste treatment processes, including the operation of the oil skimmer and proper handling of waste materials.
- Uphold general housekeeping standards and adhere to scheduled preventative maintenance routines.
- Record data, operational actions and gauge readings.
- Assist in other areas as needed while ensuring all work is done in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- One year of previous manufacturing experience.
- At least one year of relevant experience is desirable, with a Class K license or the commitment to obtain it within one year of joining.
- Availability to work weekends is a must.
- A combination of education and experience.
An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training will be considered.
