Meridian is excited to add a full-time, skilled Press Operator to our growing Production Department. We are looking for an experienced professional who can operate offset presses with confidence, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a highly efficient, collaborative production environment. In this role, you’ll work with state-of-the‑art offset printing equipment in a modern, high‑quality production facility. - Proven experience operating offset printing presses and related equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for press operations.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and overall print quality, including color and registration
- Ability to follow complex instructions and ensure consistent production standards.
- Comfortable standing and moving for long periods (8–10 hour shifts).
- Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously, and up to 50–70 pounds occasionally.
- Knowledge of print workflow, press setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Independently operate offset presses while maintaining quality and production standards.
- Review job tickets, prepare materials, and monitor print jobs from setup to completion.
- Perform press setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure consistent color and registration
- Conduct quality inspections throughout production and make corrections as needed.
- Maintain inventory of inks, solutions, and press supplies; communicate needs proactively.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to maximize press uptime and reliability.
- Mentor and support less experienced press operators, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to process improvements, efficiency gains, and workflow optimization.
- Experienced, hands‑on press operator with proven offset printing skills.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to make independent decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail in color, registration, and overall print quality
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high production and quality standards.
