Offset Press Operator

Meridian is excited to add a full-time, skilled Press Operator to our growing Production Department. We are looking for an experienced professional who can operate offset presses with confidence, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a highly efficient, collaborative production environment. • Proven experience operating offset printing presses and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for press operations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and overall print quality, including color and registration
• Ability to follow complex instructions and ensure consistent production standards.
• Comfortable standing and moving for long periods (8–10 hour shifts).
• Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously, and up to 50–70 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge of print workflow, press setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.

• Independently operate offset presses while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Review job tickets, prepare materials, and monitor print jobs from setup to completion.
• Perform press setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure consistent color and registration
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production and make corrections as needed.
• Maintain inventory of inks, solutions, and press supplies; communicate needs proactively.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to maximize press uptime and reliability.
• Mentor and support less experienced press operators, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to process improvements, efficiency gains, and workflow optimization.
