Material Handler

MAC Medical is seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling and moving materials within our warehouse facility. Your attention to detail and ability to operate heavy equipment will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Move and stage material within the Fabrication Department.
  • Locate, move, track and stage material for Work Projects/Order(s), including “hot” production items.
  • Inspect material for damage prior to moving the material/parts.
  • Ensure loads are stacked properly to minimize scratches.
  • Move material to defined locations on production floor and rack storage system.
  • Locate, gather, and stage material for work projects/orders; move finished product from Fabrication to Production.
  • Ensure Production Departments sign off on delivery of parts/materials.
  • Notify the Material Coordinator if there are problems/issues with load(s), (i.e. BOM is incorrect, prints missing, parts defective or damaged, etc.).
  • Use computer to validate loads in the ERP system.
  • Updates production boards as required.
  • Communicate with team to ensure all department material handling needs are met in a timely, safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand basic work orders, specifications, and parts lists.
Physical Functions
  • Continuously standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
  • Frequently lifting, handling, and maneuvering 85 lbs.

Starting Salary: $18 - $20/hour or higher depending on experience.
