Job Description
Join our client's team as a Maintenance Supervisor near Rockford, IL, supporting a food manufacturing. This multi-craft role covers mechanical, electrical, controls, and facilities maintenance to keep production, packaging, and utility systems running safely and efficiently.
What you'll do:
- Supports production operations within safety, quality, budgetary, and regulatory guidelines by ensuring timely and efficient maintenance of all operations equipment and assets.
- Enhance the overall quality, safety, and reliability of the assets while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Direct supervision of technical/maintenance staff, providing day-to-day technical leadership as well as managing PM programs and projects.
- Maintains documentary evidence of key events in installation and maintenance activity and provides technical advice in problem-solving
- 5+ years of maintenance experience - food manufacturing preferred.
- 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- High-level attention to detail
- Experience with quality systems and regulations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and ERP software systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in wet, fast-paced food production environments.
