* Job Summary:

** The Painter is responsible for the preparation and painting industrial pumps and accessory equipment.  The Painter is also responsible for the preparation and use of the correct paint mixtures to insure proper paint adhesion and overall appearance.  We offer a full benefits package to include 4 WEEKS Paid Time Off (PTO) for hourly positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits.

* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
* Comply with XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures and regulations, including daily attendance of safety/toolbox meetings.
* Move equipment in and out of preparation and paint booth areas using a forklift.
* Accurately prepare paint to ensure proper adhesion.
* Inspect equipment to ensure surfaces have been properly prepared prior to applying electrostatic paint.
* Properly store or dispose of unused paints or solvents.
* Clean, maintain and inspect painting equipment after each use.
* Ability to properly operate electrostatic paint application equipment
* General knowledge of safety equipment including respirators
* Ability to maintain paint equipment
* General knowledge of paint booth equipment and proper housekeeping procedures
* Ability to operate and use basic hand tools
* General mechanical aptitude
* Ability to operate forklifts
* Ability and willingness to follow directions and be a team player
* Ability to work independently as needed

* QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Requirements:

*** HS diploma or equivalent
* 1 - 3 years of industrial painting experience
* Auto body, paint shop or vocational technical center experience preferred
* Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements
* Hazmat Endorsements or ability to obtain
* Clean driving record
** DAY IN THE LIFE**:

In this role, the working environment is a shop/manufacturing environment subject to all weather conditions, shop noise, and fumes within OSHA standards and machinery with moving parts. The physical demands may include but not limited to bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, kneeling, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. This role requires extended hours as needed (weekends, overtime, and on-call rotations) and travel to fulfill duties listed above.
* Work using personal protective equipment, including breathing apparatus
* Comply with annual OSHA respirator fit testing requirements (must be tested annually)
** SALARY:
** The estimated salary range for this position is $20/Hr. to $25/Hr.
