Location: Savanna

The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by collaborating with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and assist with order fulfillment. This position requires a strong work ethic, basic computer knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment

Job Details
  • Position Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt (Hourly)

  • Shift: 1st Shift (M-F 5AM-3:30PM)

  • Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour plus, $2.00/hour shift premium for night shifts

  • Work Location: Hotform Location (Savanna, IL 61074)

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Auto Pack Line

  • Efficiently complete shipments by processing and accurately loading orders, ensuring timely delivery to our clients.

  • Skillfully operate powered industrial and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

  • Schedule, transport, weigh, stock, receive, and pack inbound and outbound products, optimizing workflow and minimizing delays.

  • Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.

  • Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to accurately transact inventory movements and facilitate seamless shipping processes.

  • Transport raw materials to designated work centers, supporting production teams in maintaining efficient workflows.

  • Assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
    • Ensure all products are correctly labeled, packaged, and stored, adhering to company standards and regulations.

  • Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing products to identify and report any damages, maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Required)
  • 0-2 years of experience.

  • Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.

  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 30 pounds.

  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.

  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
