  • Position Type:
    Hourly, Full Time
  • Flexible shift options:
    • Weekdays | Monday – Friday | 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
    • Weeknights | Monday – Friday | 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
    • Weekend Days | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
    • Weekend Nights | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
  • Pay Range:
    • $18.00–$22.00 per hour for Mon‑Fri shifts
    • $20.40–$24.90 per hour for Fri‑Sun shifts
    • $4.00 per hour shift premium for night shifts
  • Work Location:

    Hotform (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074)
  • Reports to:

    Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up tooling, operate, and perform changeovers on forging machines to produce components according to specifications.
  • Ensure products meet strict quality control requirements.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Use an overhead crane to load raw material onto machine.
  • Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
  • Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies
  • Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through previous experience or hobbies.
  • Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
  • History of reliable attendance record and punctuality – essential to support production timelines and team operations.
